Brew accomplished

I should have taken a picture of the hops before I boiled them in wort for an hour. This is what spent hops look like when they look like when they are soggy and used up.

After the boil, I chilled the wort down to about 80 degrees using my immersion chiller. I will take pictures of all of my awesome equipment next time. The yeast is pitched and I took a sample to check the gravity. To get a good reading, I need to wait till the sample is at 68 degrees, but I can see now it should yield a beer roughly in the 5.5-6% alcohol range. I only got a quick look at the hydrometer. Now for a couple hours of watching tv and I will be making 3 spiced meads next.
